Monica Buchanan

Monica Buchanan serves as the Senior Director of Strategic Communications at Connecticut Children's, a position held since August 2013, after progressing through roles including Director of Communications and Assistant Director of Media & Public Relations. Prior to this, Monica worked as an Investigative Reporter at NBC Connecticut - WVIT from September 2007 to August 2013, and as a News Reporter at both ABC 7 WWSB-TV and WCTV during the years 2005 to 2007 and 2004 to 2005, respectively. Monica holds a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications, completed in 2004.
