Daniel Rissi

Daniel Rissi possesses extensive experience in healthcare management and medical practice. Currently serving as a member of the Waterford Senior Citizens Commission since May 2022, Daniel has held the position of Board Chair at Connecticut Community Care, Inc. since February 2019. Additionally, Daniel has contributed to the Connecticut Medical Examining Board as a Board Member since February 2010. Previous roles include Vice President and Chief Medical and Clinical Operations Officer at Lawrence and Memorial and Westerly Hospitals, Chief Operating Officer at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital, and Vice President of Medical Affairs at Olean General Hospital. Daniel also served as Medical Director at Blue Hill Memorial Hospital and practiced as a Family Physician at Island Medical Center for nearly two decades. Daniel earned a Doctor of Medicine from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed a residency in Family Medicine at Eastern Maine Medical Center, following a Bachelor of Arts in Combined Literature from Yale University.
