Dominique Marsalek

Dominique Nicole Marsalek, M.A., serves as the Government Affairs Manager at the American Counseling Association, managing the organization's state policy agenda and leading federal and state coalition building. Marsalek is a gubernatorial appointee on the Board of Trustees for the Family and Children's Trust Fund in Virginia, where responsibilities include promoting awareness of child abuse, overseeing fund disbursement, and advising state agencies on related issues. Previous roles encompass Federal and State Public Policy Deputy at Prevent Child Abuse America, Legislative and Community Affairs Advisor at the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, and Chief of Staff for a Maryland State Senator.
