Dr. Denisa Millette PhD, LPC, CPCS, CCTP is an accomplished psychologist and licensed psychotherapist with extensive experience in trauma-focused therapeutic intervention and counseling. Currently serving as Chair of the International Association for Resilience and Trauma Counseling Professional Development at the American Counseling Association and as an Adjunct Professor of Psychology at Yorkville University, Dr. Millette also founded Safe Emotions, LLC, where trauma-focused assessment and therapy are provided to clients across various age groups. In the role of Clinical Director and Lead Psychotherapist at the Mothers Advocacy Project, Dr. Millette contributes to research and intervention models aimed at family preservation. Additionally, Dr. Millette serves as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Senior Psychological Evaluator at Medlin Treatment Center, offering comprehensive evaluations and expert testimony. Dr. Millette's educational background includes a PhD in Psychology from Capella University and a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Palacký University in Olomouc.
