Connecticut Forest & Park Association
The Connecticut Forest & Park Association (CFPA) is the first non-profit conservation organization established in Connecticut during 1895. Our mission is connecting people to Connecticut's forests, parks, and Blue-Blazed Hiking Trails to ensure that these special places are protected and well-managed for future generations. CFPA has a small professional staff who work with amazing volunteers to maintain 825 miles of Blue-Blazed Hiking Trails, ensure conservation has a strong voice at the Capitol, offer educational programs for the general public and landowners, and protect over 2,000 acres as a statewide land trust.
