Brian Farnen

Brian Farnen has had a diverse work experience. Brian began their career as a Judicial Clerkship at the Connecticut Appellate Court in 2002 and continued until 2003. In 2004, they became an Associate at Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge, where they worked until 2007 as Corporate Counsel at MassMutual Financial Group. Brian then joined Sikorsky Aircraft as a Senior Attorney from 2008 to 2011. Brian later became the General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer at CT Green Bank in 2011. In 2020, they transitioned to serving as a State Representative for the State of Connecticut until 2021. Additionally, Brian took on the role of Deputy Campaign Manager for Jodi Rell '06 from 2005 to 2006.

Brian Farnen pursued their education in a chronological manner. Brian first attended the University of Connecticut from 1993 to 1997 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Connecticut School of Law from 1999 to 2003 and obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree. Additionally, from 2000 to 2003, they attended the University of Connecticut School of Business and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance.
