Sara Harari

Sara Harari has a diverse work experience in the field of energy and sustainability. Sara is currently working at CT Green Bank as the Associate Director of Innovation & Strategic Advisor to the President, where they lead the development of new products and programs in energy storage, clean hydrogen, and e-mobility. Sara also serves as the Co-Chair of the Innovation Advisory Council, Co-Chair of the Connecticut Hydrogen Task Force, and the CT Green Bank Representative in various councils and boards.

Prior to their current role, Sara worked at National Grid as the Lead Product Developer in the Solar and Storage Team. In this role, they designed and piloted a program to interconnect grid-scale distributed energy resources, increasing the capacity for clean energy integration. Sara also supported programs to provide clean energy solutions to low and moderate-income customers.

Sara's experience also includes internships and research positions at Yale Center for Business and the Environment, AVANGRID, Inc., National Geographic Society, Jacobs, and Free Flow Power. Sara Harari has a diverse education history. Sara completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering at Tufts University from 2008 to 2012. In 2011, Sara spent a semester studying Sustainable Development at the Danish Institute for Study Abroad.

Later, from 2016 to 2019, Sara attended the Yale School of Management where they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.). Simultaneously, they also pursued a Masters degree in Environmental Management with a focus on Energy and the Environment at the Yale School of the Environment during the same period.

In addition to their degrees, Sara obtained the certification of Engineer in Training in August 2012, although the institution providing the certification is unknown.
