Christina Iovanne

Christina Iovanne is a seasoned clinical social worker with extensive experience in outpatient behavioral health services. Since April 2016, Christina has served as a Clinical Social Worker II at Yale New Haven Health, specializing in intensive outpatient group therapy using mindfulness-based cognitive therapy for moderate to severe major depressive disorders. Concurrently, Christina has been the Clinical Director at Connecticut Renaissance since May 2011, overseeing outpatient services, promoting community integration, and enhancing client support, while also holding roles as Lead Outpatient Clinician. Previous experience includes work as an Employment Specialist at Kennedy Center, Inc., and multiple internships focused on cognitive behavioral therapy and substance abuse treatment. Christina holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University and is a licensed clinical social worker. Additionally, Christina is certified as a Thanatologist by the Association for Death Education and Certification.
