Kate Johnston

Kate Johnston serves as a board member for the Connecticut River Museum since May 2023, focusing on the development of educational, environmental, and cultural initiatives related to the Connecticut River Valley. Previously, Kate held the position of Customer Experience Marketing Lead at ABB Electrification from February 2019 to September 2022, where responsibilities included leading a team dedicated to enhancing digital customer engagement and managing various customer experience initiatives. Prior to that, a significant tenure at GE spanned over two decades, culminating in the role of Customer Engagement Director, overseeing global marketing efforts and digital strategies. Additional experience includes marketing management roles and academic instruction at Southern Connecticut State University. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in International Marketing from Rensselaer at Work and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Delaware.
