Jerry Erwin

Jerry Erwin has a diverse work experience in the field of security and law enforcement. Jerry began their career in 1998 as a Police Sergeant in the Administrative Services Division of the Central Connecticut State University Police Department. Jerry held this role for over 22 years until July 2021. In July 2021, they joined Allied Universal as the Assistant Director of Security. After six months, they were promoted to the role of Director of Security, which they held until July 2023. Currently, they serve as the Director of Safety and Security at the Connecticut Science Center, a position they have held since July 2023.

Jerry Erwin earned a Certificate in Command Level Training - Leadership Development from the FBI National Academy in 2010. Jerry also holds additional certifications including Advanced Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED), Certified Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED), and Certified Advanced Crime Prevention Specialist, all obtained from The American Crime Prevention Institute in Louisville, KY, with the most recent being in 2004.
