Pam Strollo

Next Generation Science Exemplar Study Group at Connecticut Science Center

Pam Strollo is an experienced educator with a focus on early childhood education and STEM. Currently serving as a Grade 1 STEM teacher and Extended Day Enrichment Specialist at New London Public Schools since March 2006, Pam has developed a self-designed program titled “Building Good Citizens Through Cooperative Play, Board Games, Building Sets, Art, and Action Hobbies.” Additionally, Pam analyzes various standardized assessments, including MAP, DIBELS, and the Fountas & Pinnell Benchmark Assessment Systems. Pam's previous roles include teaching at Integrated Day Charter School, where responsibilities spanned from kindergarten to grades 3-4, and serving as a literacy coach and teacher trainer. Experience also includes teaching in the K-1 mixed-age classroom at the Regional Multicultural Magnet School and as a kindergarten teacher at Warren City Schools. Pam's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Education from Sacred Heart University and various certifications and specialized training from credible institutions, including the Connecticut Science Center.
