Alexa started off as the Events Director at the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce, where they successfully organized major annual events and developed innovative marketing campaigns.
After that, they worked as the Marketing Manager at Thames Valley Communications, where they implemented a multi-tiered marketing plan that led to steady growth for the company.
Alexa then joined Three Rivers Community College as a Public Relations Associate, where they doubled press coverage and coordinated television news press through effective campaigns and press relationships. Alexa later became the Interim Director of Marketing and Public Relations, where they assessed the college's needs and implemented a strategic marketing plan with a $150K budget.
Alexa's most recent role was as the Director of Organizational Communications at Connecticut State Community College.
