Dean Blumberg

Dean Blumberg has extensive work experience in the field of education and tutoring. Dean currently serves as the Director of Tutoring and Academic Support at Connecticut State Community College. Prior to this role, they worked as the Director of Student Success, Tutorial Services & EPIC Lab at Horry-Georgetown Technical College, where they also served as a Professor of English. Dean has previous experience as a Graduate Assistant Director at Appalachian State University, where they were responsible for managing the University Writing Center. Additionally, they worked as a Freelance Content Creator, taking on various roles such as Writer, Copywriter, Content Marketing Writer, and Editor.

Dean Blumberg received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English from the University of Vermont between 2001 and 2004. Dean later pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in English with a focus on Rhetoric & Composition at Appalachian State University from 2007 to 2010. In addition to their academic qualifications, Dean Blumberg obtained various certifications, including Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in 2023, and certifications in Instructional Design, SEO, and Rhetoric and Composition.
