Michael Goemans has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Michael currently holds the position of Director of Student Success Technology at Connecticut State Community College, beginning in April 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at the University of Hartford in various capacities. From January 2017 to January 2023, they served as an Adjunct Professor. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the same institution from 2011 to 2013. Michael also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health Science/Physical Therapy, which they acquired between 2007 and 2011 from the University of Hartford. In terms of additional certifications, Michael Goemans has completed the Title IX/Sexual Assault Training Program from Margolis Healy in 2017, obtained an Initial Educator Certification for Kindergarten through 6th grade from the State of Connecticut in 2013, and holds Emergency Medical Technician certifications from the New York State and the State of Connecticut, acquired in 2010.
