Deborah Hopper has a comprehensive work experience in the field of Human Resources. Deborah is currently serving as the Director of Human Resources at Connecticut Wealth Management, LLC. Prior to this, Deborah worked as the Director of Human Resources at Hartford Golf Club, where they were responsible for various HR initiatives and the development of HR processes and policies. Deborah also owned their HR consulting company, Hopper HR Consulting, LLC, where they provided strategic support to leaders and their teams in areas such as talent management, diversity, equity, and inclusion, change management, and coaching. Before starting their own business, Deborah held various leadership positions at Prudential Financial, where they managed talent development, led HR centers of excellence, and provided end-to-end HR support for the Retirement division. Deborah also gained valuable experience at Cigna and The Hartford, where they served as a strategic HR business partner and employee relations consultant. Deborah's career began at Allstate, where they worked as a Human Resources business partner and division manager.
Deborah Hopper holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Sociology from Assumption University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications, including Certified Executive Coach from Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coaching in December 2017, Assessments Certification from Hogan Assessment Systems in November 2017, Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) from Prosci in March 2017, Occupational Personality Questionnaire from CEB (now Gartner) in March 2017, Emotional Intelligence/Competence Certification from Hay Group in June 2016, and Diversity Education from Korn Ferry in June 2000.
