Omer Shabbir is a seasoned technical engagement manager with extensive experience in data center operations, project management, and disaster recovery. Currently managing the W.W. Grainger account at Connection since July 2018, Omer oversees operations of Grainger Data Centers, distribution centers, and branches across North America, Canada, and Mexico. Prior experience at IBM from 2005 to 2018 involved leading data privacy project management initiatives, implementing cloud integration and data center migration projects, and maintaining audit compliance. Omer also has a background in serving as a site lead for IBM Global Services with Bank of America, where successful management of disaster recovery strategies was showcased.
