Matthew Kovach Ed.

Matthew Kovach MS. Ed. is an experienced education professional with a diverse background in special education and instructional leadership. Currently serving as a Special Education Specialist at Connections Academy since November 2021, Matthew manages virtual instructional programs for students with special needs. Prior to this role, Matthew worked as an ESE Support Facilitator at Martin County Schools, where communication and problem-solving for ESE students were key responsibilities. Previous positions include Dean of Students and Teacher at St. Lucie Public Schools, where Matthew focused on literacy education and support for students. Matthew also held roles in educational sales and business administration early in the career. Matthew holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from American College of Education, an MSEd in Education from Duquesne University, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Psychology from Washington & Jefferson College.
