Tami Sewell

Tami Sewell, M.Ed., has extensive experience in education, focusing on special education and gifted and talented programs. Currently serving as a Special Education Middle School Teacher at Connections Academy since February 2021, Tami previously held various roles at Keller ISD, including Gifted and Talented teacher and Intervention Specialist from August 2016 to February 2021. Additional experience includes positions at Northwest ISD, Eagle Mountain Saginaw ISD, and Fort Worth ISD, contributing to curriculum development and teacher training in special education. Tami began a part-time career as a Travel Agent with Tami's Travels and Trips while previously teaching in several school districts, starting with the Irving Independent School District in 1989. Tami holds a Master of Education in the Teaching of the Gifted and Talented from Hardin-Simmons University, a Principal Certification from the University of North Texas, and a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Elementary Education from The University of Texas at Arlington.
