Norman Burns is currently the President & CEO of Conner Prairie, an outdoor historical destination in Indiana. Prior to this, Norman served as the Executive Director at Maymont Foundation and Belle Meade Plantation. Norman holds a BA & MA in History from Middle Tennessee State University.

Spanning more than 1,000 wooded acres in central Indiana, Conner Prairie welcomes nearly 400,000 visitors of all ages annually. As Indiana’s first Smithsonian Institute affiliate, the museum, located in Fishers, Ind., offers nine outdoor, historically themed destinations and three indoor experiential learning spaces that combine history and art with science, technology, engineering and math to offer an authentic look into history that shapes society today.
