Ncco Michael Nowicky

Michael Nowicky, NCCO has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Michael began their career as a Training Representative and Senior Banking Representative at Connecticut National Bank/Shawmut Bank in 1989, where they worked until 1996. Following that, they worked as a Sales Representative at The Hartford from 1996 to 1998, achieving consistent monthly sales goals and being recognized as a top sales agent.

In 1997, Michael joined the United States Marine Corps, serving as a Sergeant of Marines and Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom 2003 until 2003.

From 1999 to 2004, they worked as a Branch Manager at American Savings Bank/Banknorth, before transitioning to Nutmeg State Financial Credit Union. At Nutmeg State Financial Credit Union, Michael held several roles, including Branch Manager, Vice President of Risk Management, and Vice President of Operations and Facilities. In these roles, they demonstrated expertise in sales and service management, fraud reduction strategies, risk management oversight, and compliance functions. Michael also achieved the NAFCU Certified Compliance Officer (NCCO) designation during their tenure.

In 2015, Michael joined Connex Credit Union, initially as a Branch Manager. Michael consistently exceeded the Credit Union's Net Promoter Score and was recognized as the Most Valuable Advocate in 2016. Michael later became the BSA and Compliance Officer, responsible for ensuring adherence to banking laws and regulations. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Operations at Connex Credit Union.

Michael Nowicky, NCCO completed their education in a chronological manner. Michael attended St. Stanislaus School in Meriden, CT from 1975 to 1984 for their primary education. Michael then enrolled at Platt High School in Meriden, CT from 1984 to 1988, where they pursued a degree in General Studies, focusing on high school courses and athletics. Finally, from 2010 to 2014, Michael attended Post University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management.
