Nick Loehlein, P.E. has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Nick started their career as an Associate Planning Engineer at Connexus Energy in 2005 and worked their way up through various managerial roles, including Manager of Engineering & System Operations and Vice President of Electric Operations. Throughout their career at Connexus Energy, they provided strategic leadership, collaborated with corporate directors, and oversaw the engineering, design, construction, maintenance, and operation of the electric system. Prior to joining Connexus Energy, Nick had internship experiences at MidAmerican Energy and Rockwell Collins, where they gained valuable technical skills.
Nick Loehlein, P.E. started their educational journey in 1996 at Anoka High School where they completed their secondary education. In 2000, they enrolled at Iowa State University and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering in 2004. After working in the field for several years, Nick decided to pursue further education. From 2014 to 2016, they attended St. Cloud State University and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree. In 2009, Nick obtained a certification as a Professional Engineer from the Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience and Interior Design (AELSLAGID).
