Marcio Zacarias

Marcio Zacarias has over 15 years of professional experience in software engineering and development. Marcio began their career in 2004 as a Software Developer Internship at GPPD-UFRGS (Grupo de processamento paralelo de dados). Marcio then held a Software Developer Internship at Conexum Ltda. in 2005 and a Software Developer Internship at Microsoft Innovation Center in 2007. In 2009, they became a Game Programmer/Software Engineer at Tectoy Digital. From 2011 to 2014, they were a Software Engineer II and Software Engineer at Terra. In 2014, they joined EyeNetra, Inc. as a Lead Software Engineer and later became the Director of Software. From 2017 to 2021, they were a Senior Software Engineer and Cloud Solutions Architect at EverQuote. Marcio is currently a Senior Software Architect at Connie Health.

Marcio Zacarias obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul between 2004 and 2009. Marcio then obtained a Scrum Master Certified (SMC) certification from the Scrum Alliance in September 2011. Finally, they obtained an MBA in Business Management from ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing between 2013 and 2015.
