Sean Klotz

Sean Klotz, CPA, CFA has a diverse and extensive work experience in the financial industry. Sean currently holds the position of Director - Structured Products at Conning, where they started in September 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Director - Quantitative Research from November 2021 to August 2022. Sean joined Conning in August 2011 as the Vice President - Quantitative Research and held this position until October 2021.

Before joining Conning, Sean worked at MFS Investment Management from 2000 to 2011. During their time at MFS, they worked as a Structured Product Research specialist from June 2005 to July 2011. Sean also worked as a Risk Control Analyst & Internal Auditor from March 2000 to June 2005.

Prior to MFS, Sean worked at Pitney Bowes as a Senior Auditor from August 1998 to March 2000. Sean started their career at RSM US LLP as a Senior Auditor from August 1996 to August 1998. Their first job in the financial industry was at Seward & Monde as a Staff Auditor from June 1994 to August 1998.

Sean Klotz, CPA, CFA holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Babson College and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University.
