Alex Wai, CPA, CA, MFin has a diverse work experience in the finance and accounting industry. In 2011, they started their career at EY as an Associate in Financial Service Assurance. Alex was promoted to Senior Associate in 2012 and eventually became a Manager in 2014. In their role at EY, they gained experience in financial services assurance.

In 2016, Alex joined KPMG as a Manager in Technology, Media and Telecommunications Advisory. Alex held this role until 2018, where they then moved on to The Citco Group Limited as a Manager in Real Estate.

In 2019, Alex joined Manulife as a Manager in REIT, where they worked until 2020. Currently, they are working at Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group (CC&L) as the Controller for Real Estate Funds.

Additionally, they hold a Master of Finance degree from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University. Alex has also obtained the Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA) certification from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and is currently pursuing the CFA level II certification from the CFA Institute.
