Alexandra Burton has a diverse work background starting in 2013 as a Pension Administrator at Lancashire County Council. Alexandra then moved on to work at Helly Hansen Canada Limited in 2015, where they held a role in Customer Operations. In 2016, Alexandra joined Argus Carriers Ltd as an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Administrator and remained there until 2019. Since 2019, they have been working at Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group (CC&L), initially as a Specialist in Institutional Client Reporting, then as an Analyst in the same department, and currently holds the position of Senior Analyst.

Alexandra Burton received a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from Newcastle University, completing their studies from 2010 to 2013. In addition to their degree, Alexandra has obtained several certifications. Alexandra completed the Canadian Securities Course from the Canadian Securities Institute in February 2021. Alexandra also completed several business-related certifications from UBC Sauder Continuing Business Studies, including Business Analysis Fundamentals in November 2022, Change Management Fundamentals in March 2023, and Agile Business Analysis in April 2023.
