Debanjan Ghosal has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and management. Debanjan started their career in 2010 with Cognizant as an Associate - Projects, where they were responsible for designing, developing, and integrating windows, web applications, and web services. Debanjan also mentored team members and resolved technical issues.

In 2014, Debanjan joined Western Union as a Senior Associate, where they led a team of 10 developers and played a crucial role in designing and implementing technical projects for product and regulatory compliance systems. Debanjan ensured the use of cutting-edge technologies within budgetary constraints and served as the primary liaison between product owners and the development team in Canada and India.

From 2016 to 2018, Debanjan served as a Software Engineering Team Lead at Western Union, where they continued their leadership role and contributed to technical transformations within the team and vertical. Debanjan also helped drive the transformation of existing trading and compliance systems to a suite of microservices based on a service-oriented architecture (SOA) at Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group (CC&L) as a Manager. Additionally, they upgraded technology to ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework Core, following an Agile development cycle with Test Driven Development.

Debanjan Ghosal's education history includes a Machine Learning Certificate Course from BrainStation in 2020. Before that, they pursued a course in Leading High Performance Teams from UBC Sauder School of Business in 2018, focusing on Organizational Leadership. In 2006, they started their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Information Technology at West Bengal University of Technology in Kolkata, which they completed in 2010. Prior to their university studies, Debanjan Ghosal attended St.Xavier's College in Kolkata for their High School education, where they focused on Mathematics and Sciences. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from BrainStation in March 2020.
