Josh Killins has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Josh currently works as an Institutional Portfolio Operations Specialist at Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group (CC&L) since January 2022. Previously, they had various roles at EY, including Campus Ambassador from January 2020 to December 2021, Assurance Intern from May 2021 to August 2021, and Assurance Intern from June 2020 to July 2020. In 2019, they worked as a Fitness Center Facility Staff at UBC Recreation from August 2019 to May 2021. Josh also held positions at UBC Finance Association, serving as VP Internal Relations from May 2020 to April 2021, and VP External Relations from September 2019 to April 2020.

Josh has also gained experience through their roles as Corporate Relations Director at Sauder Summit Global Case Competition from September 2018 to August 2019. Josh was responsible for securing sponsorships from firms in Vancouver, improving their communication and writing skills while expanding their professional network. Furthermore, Josh served as a Customer Service Representative at Blue Chip Cafe / Porch from January 2018 to April 2018. In this role, they prepared food, operated the cash register, and provided efficient service to customers. Additionally, they gained experience as a Stocker at John B. Neighbourhood Pub from September 2015 to October 2016, where they ensured the store was fully stocked, assisted customers, and maintained organization and cleanliness.

Josh Killins completed their high school education at Centennial Secondary School, receiving a High School Diploma from 2013 to 2017. Josh then pursued higher education at the UBC Sauder School of Business from 2017 to 2021, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a focus on Accounting and Finance. During their time at UBC Sauder, they participated in an exchange semester at the Prague University of Economics and Business in 2020, further enhancing their knowledge in the field of Accounting and Finance. In addition to their academic achievements, Josh obtained the CFA Level I Badge from the CFA Institute in February 2023 and completed the Bloomberg Market Concept Course offered by Bloomberg LP in February 2021.
