Veronica Ling, CFA, FRM has a diverse range of work experience in the financial industry. Veronica is currently working at Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group (CC&L) as an Analyst, focusing on performance attribution and reporting. Prior to this, Veronica worked at CIBC Mellon as a Supervisor of Financial Reporting and as a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst. At Mackenzie Investments, they served as a Financial Analyst. Veronica also has experience in customer service, having worked as a Customer Service Representative at CIBC. Additionally, they have worked as a Research Assistant at Simon Fraser University and as a Risk Analyst at the Student Investment Advisory Service (SIAS) Fund. Veronica gained international experience as a Financial Advisor Assistant at China Industrial Bank and as a Marketing and Promotion Specialist at Bank of Communications Limited.

Veronica Ling, CFA, FRM has a diverse education history. Veronica completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Economics and Mathematics at Tianjin University of Commerce China from 2011 to 2015. After that, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Finance at the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University from 2015 to 2017.

Veronica also obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Veronica completed the Canadian Securities Course at the Canadian Securities Institute in October 2019. In March 2020, they achieved the Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification from the GARP FRM Program. Additionally, they completed the IBM Data Science Specialization from Coursera in December 2020 and the Excel/VBA for Creative Problem Solving program at the University of Colorado Boulder in January 2021.

Veronica earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute in March 2022. Prior to that, they also obtained the Canadian Securities Course certification in October 2015 and completed the Bloomberg Essentials Training Program- Equities offered by Bloomberg LP in October 2015. Furthermore, they achieved a College French Test Band 4 certification from the National College Authority in June 2014.
