Roy O'Brien

Roy O'Brien has extensive work experience in various managerial roles. Roy started their career in 1992 as a Plant Manager at Lakewood Engineering and Manufacturing Co. Roy held this position until 2004.

From 2004 to 2008, they worked at Bi-Link as the General Manager for North America, overseeing the company's P&L, manufacturing, supply chain, and business development. Roy also successfully directed the start-up of the Juarez Mexico facility during their tenure.

In 2008, Roy joined Big Joe Manufacturing Co. as the Vice President of Operations, a role they held until 2010.

Roy'smost recent role is at Connor Manufacturing Services, where they began as the General Manager for Connor Asia in 2010. In this position, they had full P&L responsibility for multiple sites across China, Malaysia, Singapore, Mexico, and the USA. Roy'sresponsibilities included manufacturing, engineering, international supply chain, program management, and business development. Roy successfully led start-up initiatives in Malaysia, Mexico, and China.

In 2018, Roy was promoted to Vice President of Asian Operations at Connor Manufacturing Services. Recently, in 2021, they were appointed as the Chief Operations Officer.

Roy O'Brien completed their education from various institutions. Roy began their academic journey at St. Dennis, although no specific dates or degrees were provided for this period. Later, from 1986 to 1990, they pursued a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago. Following this, between 1996 and 1999, they attended both the University of Illinois Chicago and the University of Chicago simultaneously. At the University of Illinois Chicago, Roy completed a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering/Engineering Management, while at the University of Chicago, they obtained an MBA focusing on Operations Management and TQM.
