Ricardo Morais has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Ricardo started their career in 2006 as a Consultor Programador II at Megasoft Computación, where they analyzed and programmed programmatic objects and performed individual tests of developed software. In 2007, they worked briefly as a Desarrollador Senior at Banco Federal.

From 2007 to 2011, Ricardo was a Project Leader at Adverweb, leading various projects. In 2011, they joined Bee Concept Solutions as a Project Leader, managing and controlling initiatives in the Mobile area with multidisciplinary teams.

Since 2014, Ricardo has been employed at VILT, where they have held multiple roles. Ricardo started as a Project Manager, responsible for managing projects until December 2017. From January 2018 to December 2021, they served as the Professional Services Manager, overseeing the delivery of services. Currently, they hold the position of EMEA Business Director, starting in January 2022.

Throughout their career, Ricardo has gained experience in project management, agile methodologies such as Scrum, and analysis of requirements.

Ricardo Morais has a diverse education history. Ricardo obtained an Engineer's degree in Engineering from Universidad de Oriente in Venezuela from 1998 to 2004. In 2004-2005, they pursued further studies at Universidade do Minho in Portugal, specializing in Information Technology and completing a degree as an "Especialista en Sistemas de Información" (Specialist in Information Systems).

Most recently, from 2021 to 2023, Ricardo enrolled in Universidade do Minho again to pursue a Master's degree in Project Management, specifically focusing on "Mestrado Gestão Projetos de Engenharia" (Master's in Engineering Project Management).

In addition to their formal education, Ricardo Morais has also obtained several certifications. Ricardo achieved the certification of IPMA Level D – Certified Project Management Associate from APOGEP - Associação Portuguesa de Gestão de Projetos in November 2022. Prior to that, in January 2021, they obtained the Speexx English CEFR Level B2.1 certification from Speexx, indicating their proficiency in English. Finally, in June 2019, Ricardo achieved certification as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance.
