Shireen Ahmed

Shireen Ahmed is an undergraduate civil engineer currently working with ACCIONA AU & NZ in the Southern Alliance Program, focusing on rail infrastructure and bridge works. Shireen has gained diverse experience in both engineering and retail, having previously served as an undergraduate civil engineer at AECOM on high-value projects such as the Metro Tunnel and M80 Upgrade, and as a sales consultant at Optus. Shireen's retail experience includes roles at Connor Clothing and Strandbags, where skills in sales, leadership, and visual merchandising were developed. Additionally, Shireen participated in the Engineers Without Borders Challenge, contributing to a project that supported the cultural and environmental goals of the Yirrganydji people. Shireen is pursuing a Bachelor of Civil and Infrastructure Engineering at RMIT University, expected to graduate in November 2026.
