Annessa McKenzie

Annessa McKenzie serves as the Chief Information Security Officer for ConocoPhillips since May 2022, overseeing enterprise architecture and IT corporate business applications. McKenzie also holds a position as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Oklahoma's Price College of Business, teaching a course on Cyber-Physical Security and Resilience for Energy. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Security Officer and VP of Supply Chain at Calpine from July 2015 to May 2022, where responsibilities encompassed physical and cyber security, IT infrastructure, and business continuity. Additionally, McKenzie worked as Chief Information Security Officer at Baker Hughes and held roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Gulf Coast HIDTA. Educational credentials include an MBA in Information Systems and Decision Sciences and a B.S. in Kinesiology, supplemented by training from the US FBI CISO Academy and Citizen’s Academy.
