Benjamin Carlson

Benjamin Carlson has over a decade of experience in finance and taxation, currently serving as the VP of Finance & IT at ConocoPhillips Alaska since July 2012. In this role, Benjamin leads the corporate finance team, overseeing capital structure initiatives and managing relationships with bank partners and credit rating agencies. Previous positions at ConocoPhillips include Assistant Treasurer and various managerial roles within International Tax, where responsibilities encompassed managing the company's US international tax compliance and responding to IRS audits. Prior to ConocoPhillips, Benjamin worked at KPMG as a Senior Manager in International Tax and a Senior Associate in Federal Tax. Benjamin holds a Master of Professional Accounting in Tax from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University.
