Sayantan Bhowmik

Sayantan Bhowmik is an accomplished reservoir engineer with extensive experience in reservoir modeling and analytics development. Currently serving as a Staff Reservoir Engineer at ConocoPhillips since June 2014, Sayantan has led projects on uncertainty quantification software and has extensive involvement in developing desktop applications for reservoir model building. With a solid foundation in Python programming and agile methodologies, Sayantan has also provided training and mentorship to colleagues and executed various predictive modeling workflows. Prior to this, Sayantan held research and intern positions at notable institutions, including the University of Texas at Austin and Equinor, and has a comprehensive educational background with a PhD and Master's in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, along with a Bachelor's degree from the Indian School of Mines.
