Taymoor Khan

Taymoor Khan, PMP, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Taymoor began their career in 2007 as a Document Control Supervisor at Technip. In 2009, they worked as a Commercial Analyst at bp before transitioning to Cenovus Energy in 2010 as a Project Cost Accountant. In 2011, Taymoor joined Design Group at Syncrude Canada as an Account Payable Analyst.

Since 2011, Taymoor has been working at ConocoPhillips, where they have held various roles. Taymoor started as a Transactional Analyst and later became a Cost Analyst. Taymoor then advanced to the position of Field Cost Analyst before taking on the role of Project Control Lead for Site-CMT. Taymoor also led projects as a Project Control Lead for Risk Specialist and NxtGen ERP System. Currently, they serve as the Project Controls Lead for Wellpads and Pipeline at ConocoPhillips, where they liaise with stakeholders, provides guidance and expertise, and ensures compliance with project standards.

Throughout their career, Taymoor has gained expertise in project controls, cost management, risk analysis, and ERP system implementation. Taymoor has successfully led teams, adapted to new environments, and managed project budgets and timelines. Taymoor holds a PMP certification and an MBA.

Taymoor Khan holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Calgary, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Taymoor also obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting/Finance from the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) in 2010. Prior to their bachelor's degree, Taymoor completed a Diploma in Business Administration/Finance from NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) in 2006. Taymoor began their educational journey by earning a Certificate in Business Administration from Keyano College in 2004.

Furthermore, Taymoor Khan has obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Institute of Project Management in 2018.
