Tony Zampella

Tony Zampella is the founder of Bhāvanā Learning Group, where the focus is on cultivating conscious leadership through coaching and community learning. With extensive experience in leadership development, Zampella is also a member of the Consciousness Leaders collective, working to promote sustainable change within organizations. Prior academic roles include serving as a part-time lecturer at Rutgers University, leading courses in executive leadership, and as a professor at Mercy College, where curriculum development and teaching in leadership and organizational behavior were key responsibilities. Zampella's past involvement as a commissioner with the San Diego Human Relations Commission and as publisher and editor-in-chief of a gay and lesbian newsmagazine highlights a commitment to social issues and public policy. Zampella holds degrees in Sociology, Organizational Leadership, Journalism, and Contemplative Psychotherapy.
