Roland Marion is an experienced professional in environmental management and circular economy, currently serving as Director of the Circular Economy Department at ADEME since March 2021 and as a Regional Advisor for Ecological and Energy Transition at the Conseil Régional des Pays de la Loire since June 2021. Previously, Roland held the position of General Delegate at the Confederation of Environmental Professions from January 2017 to March 2021, representing various federations in waste collection, treatment, recycling, and valorization. During the same period, Roland acted as Permanent Delegate for the Strategic Committee of the Waste Transformation and Valorization Sector, contributing to France's strategic industrial initiatives. Earlier in a decade-long tenure at ADEME from 2007 to 2017, Roland managed eco-design, recycling, and waste management projects, and coordinated national efforts for the rehabilitation of degraded environments. Roland's professional background is supported by degrees in Environmental Engineering from UniLaSalle and Public and Environmental Law from Université d'Angers.
