Chaminda Divitotawela

Chaminda Divitotawela has a comprehensive work experience spanning various roles in the field of DevOps engineering and technical support. Chaminda started their career at Virtusa in 2003 as a Quality Assurance Engineer. Chaminda then worked at Valista International Lanka Pvt. Ltd. as an Automation Engineer and later as an Implementation Engineer. After that, Chaminda joined Aepona, where they served as a Senior Technical Support Engineer, Technical Support Manager, and Deployment Engineer. Moving on, they worked at Transaction Network Services as a Senior Test Engineer before joining Intel Corporation as a Senior Deployment and Hosted Operations Engineer. At Intel, Chaminda gained experience in conducting user acceptance testing, providing technical support, and implementing automated software deployment using tools like Puppet. Chaminda then worked at MasterCard Payment Gateway Services as a Senior Integration Engineer. Continuing their career, Chaminda served as a DevOps Consultant at the Australian Bureau of Statistics. Chaminda later joined Console Group as a Senior DevOps Engineer and AUCloud as a Senior DevOps Engineer. Currently, Chaminda holds the position of Lead DevOps Engineer at ConsenSys.

Chaminda Divitotawela holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Information Technology from the University of Moratuwa, which they obtained from 2008 to 2010. Chaminda also has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Engineering with a specialization in Electrical Engineering from the same university, which they completed between 1997 and 2002. Additionally, they acquired a professional qualification in Information Technology from the Australian Computer Society in 1996-1997. Chaminda Divitotawela has also pursued management accounting studies and passed the final exams to become a Passed Finalist of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants - UK in 1997-2002.
