Laurel Klafehn

Laurel Klafehn is a UX Designer at Flatiron School since January 2023 and the Founder/Lead Instructor at Rock Steady Yoga & Movement, LLC since January 2020, where classes are designed to honor yoga traditions and support liberation movements, with a significant portion of funds directed towards related organizations. Additionally, Laurel serves as a Yoga & Movement Instructor at Elevate Yoga Denver, focusing on accessible class design and the intersection of neuroscience and functional movement. Previous experience includes roles such as Legal Advocate & Volunteer Program Manager at Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network, where Laurel coordinated legal orientations for detainees and developed language access programs. Laurel's educational background includes a UX Design degree from Flatiron School and a Certificate of Legal Spanish Interpreting from Community College of Aurora, along with other qualifications in data science, reproductive justice, and yoga-related disciplines.
