Tanya Simmonds-Rosa has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Tanya started their career as a Clerical Assistant and Conference Organiser at the University of Sussex, where they provided support and organized conferences. Tanya then transitioned to the role of Project Coordinator, overseeing a knowledge exchange project funded by the ESRC. Tanya also worked as a Programme Support Officer in an international research consortium, where they assisted in budget monitoring and office management.

Moving forward, Tanya joined the Mountbatten Program as a Placement Officer, where they developed relationships with sponsors and candidates and acted as a main point of contact. Tanya then worked at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer as a Recruitment Assistant and later as a Marketing Campaign Leader for Campus Recruitment, managing relationships with universities and supporting recruitment activities.

Tanya then joined Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP as a Marketing Operations Specialist, working on various marketing initiatives and coordinating events. Tanya was later promoted to Assistant Marketing Manager, supporting the Managing Partner and lawyers with marketing and business development activities for the Asia region.

Tanya's next role was at Bex Waffles, a start-up fast-food business, where they served as the Director of Operations. Tanya focused on daily operations, including bookkeeping, financial analysis, inventory, and logistics.

Currently, Tanya is serving as the Lead of HR Programmes and Internal Communications at ConsenSys, a fast-growing global blockchain company. In this role, they work closely with the Chief People Officer and leads HR program and internal communications initiatives for a remote employee population across the globe. Their responsibilities include internal communications, compensation and equity program design, learning and development program planning and execution, and HRIS rollout and transformation.

Throughout their career, Tanya has demonstrated their expertise in various areas, such as marketing, recruitment, operations, and program management.

Tanya Simmonds-Rosa, HR Program Leader and Coach, obtained a Master of Arts degree in Conflict, Security and Development from the University of Sussex in 2010. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics and Philosophy from the same university in 2009. In June 2019, Tanya also obtained certification as a Transformational Life Coach from Leadership that Works.
