Natalie Bates

Natalie Bates has a diverse work experience in the field of media production and communications. Natalie most recently worked as the Event Operations Manager at Consero since February 2022. Prior to that, they were the Digital Media Coordinator at Centrepointe Counseling from February 2020 to March 2022 and then moved on to Beachmont as a Communications Manager from July 2021 to February 2022.

Natalie also has experience as a freelance videographer under their own company, Natalie Bates Visual Productions, which they started in January 2018 and continues to the present. In this role, they filmed, produced, and edited video clips for their clients, using Adobe Premiere and Adobe After-Effects for post-production editing.

In addition, Natalie has worked as the Creative Services and Visual Asset Manager at Social Media Day Baltimore from August 2020 to August 2021 and as the Lead Student Videographer at the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) from August 2020 to June 2021. Natalie also gained valuable experience as a Video Production Intern at Comcast from May 2019 to March 2020.

Overall, Natalie has developed a strong skill set in media production, including video filming, editing, and coordination, as well as communication and management in various roles throughout their career.

Natalie Bates began their education in 2014 at Eastern Technical High School, where they focused on Interactive Media Production. After completing their high school education in 2018, they enrolled at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. There, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media and Communications, which they completed in 2021. Following their undergraduate studies, Natalie Bates joined the Maryland Institute College of Art, where they are currently enrolled in the Master of Professional Studies program, specializing in the Business of Art and Design.
