Alexa Mehos

Alexa Mehos serves as Co-President on the Board of Directors at Penguins International since October 2021 and as Grants and Contracts Manager at Conservation International since April 2021, where responsibilities include managing a $35 million portfolio, assessing grantee risk, and ensuring compliance. Previous experience includes a role as Grants Associate at Global Greengrants Fund from 2017 to 2020, handling grant administration and communication with international teams. Additional roles include co-founding the Burma Tea Company, advising the UN Ambassador for Palau, and teaching English in a refugee camp. Alexa Mehos holds an MBA from the University of Cape Town and a BA in International Relations from Lewis & Clark College, along with certificates in Arabic and Development Studies.
