Francesco Carocci

Francesco Carocci is a seasoned professional in project management and operational leadership with extensive experience in carbon finance, renewable energy, and sustainable development. Currently serving as a Senior Manager for Carbon and Livelihoods at Conservation International since November 2023, Francesco previously held the role of Chief Operating Officer at OTAGO, where responsibilities included directing multi-stakeholder project proposals and overseeing technical assistance for biomass energy projects. As Chief Executive Officer at Khmer Green Charcoal, Francesco led the organization in mobilizing investments and implementing projects in forestry and energy. Francesco's career also includes experience as a Business Analyst at Soft Strategy and a Supply Chain and Production Planning Analyst at Fendi. Francesco holds a Bachelor's degree and a Master’s degree in Management and Industrial Engineering from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, as well as academic experience at Ghent University.
