Gustavo Souza

Gustavo Souza serves as the Senior Director for Policy and Incentives at Conservation International since January 2022, having previously held multiple senior roles within the organization. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Policy Manager for Latin America at CDP, where Gustavo led policy engagement with federal governments across various Latin American countries and managed climate initiatives. Prior roles also include Environmental Policy Consultant for Ludovino Lopes Lawyers, Program Officer for IDH, the Sustainable Trade Initiative, and Government Relations Trainee at Patri. Gustavo began a career focused on sustainability and public policy with an internship at Monsanto in Corporate Social Responsibility. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Sustainable Resources Management from the Technical University of Munich and a degree in Public Policy and Management from USP.
