John Shin

John Shin is an experienced professional in operations and finance, currently serving as the Senior Director of Operations for Carbon Finance at Conservation International since February 2022. Prior to this role, John directed an $8 million program at Bright Power, Inc., overseeing the measurement and verification of benefits from green energy retrofits across multi-family properties. John also held senior management positions at RTI International and Management Sciences for Health, managing substantial project portfolios and teams in international development. With a solid educational background including an MSc in Climate Change Finance & Investment from the University of Edinburgh Business School, John has developed expertise in project management, finance, and compliance across various sectors, particularly in health and environmental sustainability.
