Katy Vera Fonseca

Katy Vera Fonseca is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in environmental sustainability and program management. Currently serving as the Blue Climate Program Manager and Executive Manager at Conservation International since April 2019, Katy has previously held significant roles including Executive Office & Board Relations Manager at Synergos and Program Manager at Millennium Promise. Katy's background also encompasses positions with The Earth Institute, Urban Green Energy, the United Nations, and Fosera, displaying a strong commitment to sustainable energy and environmental practices. Academically, Katy holds a Master of Science in Sustainability Management from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs, Environmental Studies, and Latin American and Caribbean Studies from Northeastern University, complemented by studies at Universidad Latina de Costa Rica and New York University.
