Kavita Chambery

Kavita Chambery is an experienced professional in project delivery and program management, currently serving as the Vice President of Project Delivery & Monitoring at Conservation International since January 2022. Prior to this role, Kavita held the position of Senior Director for Resilience and Growth at ACDI/VOCA from September 2013 to January 2022, where responsibilities included managing a diverse portfolio of USAID-funded programs across Africa and Asia, supervising team leaders, and ensuring compliance with donor regulations. Previous experience includes roles at DAI as a Project Manager overseeing USAID-funded projects in Vietnam and other regions, and at Chemonics International as a Senior Manager managing various USAID projects in Asia. Early career internships were completed at Conflict Management Group and Search for Common Ground. Kavita holds a Master’s degree in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University and a Bachelor’s degree in Integrated International Studies from Knox College.
