Patricia Zurita

Patricia Zurita is currently serving as the Chief Strategy Officer at Conservation International since July 2023. Previously, Patricia held the position of CEO at BirdLife International from 2015 to July 2023. Patricia was the Executive Director of the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund from March 2010 to December 2014, and served in various roles at Conservation International from 2003 to 2010, including Director of the Conservation Stewards Program and Director of Policy and Economics for the Andes Division. Earlier in Patricia's career, roles included Associate at the World Resources Institute from 2000 to 2002. Patricia holds a Master of Environmental Management in Natural Resource Economics from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Universidad San Francisco de Quito.
