Robert Merritt

Robert Merritt is an experienced professional in climate change and project management, currently serving as Senior Director of the GCF Program Development at Conservation International since February 2018, where responsibilities include technical oversight and proposal development for Green Climate Fund programs. Previous roles encompass climate change consulting at Chemonics International, Cross Cutting Services Manager at Tetra Tech for the West Africa Biodiversity and Climate Change project, and various positions at Tetra Tech focused on operations management and procurement in climate adaptation and forest conservation across different regions including Indonesia, Côte d'Ivoire, and Afghanistan. Robert holds a Master of Science in Climate Change from UCL and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Bates College, alongside additional education from the University of Cape Town and Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana.
