Chris Fry

Chris Fry has a strong background in procurement and has held positions at various companies. Chris started their career as a Global Sourcing Manager at Tata Steel, where they developed a group-wide global sourcing strategy. Chris then moved on to CPL Petroleum as a Purchasing Director, where they were responsible for managing the total spend of the business. After that, they worked at Tata Steel again as a Training Consultant before joining CPL Industries as a Procurement Director. In this role, they were responsible for a group-wide budget and developed a purchasing function and team. Chris is currently working as the Head of Procurement at The Conservation Volunteers.

Chris Fry earned a BSc (Hons) degree in Joint honors in Economics & Politics from Swansea University, where they studied from 1975 to 1979. Chris also holds the MCIPS certification from the Chartered Institute of Purchase and Supply.
